Unique coverage delivered daily – Jon Loomer Digital

Do you use daily unique reach?
Daily unique reach is one of the oldest optimization options and is available under most campaign goals. This was actually one of my favorite optimization methods from eight to ten years ago. I use this feature when I’m targeting super small and relevant remarketing audiences.
I recently watched it again and discovered some strange things…
what is it?
The goal for daily unique reach is to show your ad to people no more than once per day.
This is a great way to control frequency before using frequency capping for reach optimization.
my experience
I haven’t used it in years so I decided to give it a try recently. I don’t know if this is a bug or the way “Daily Unique Reach” works now, but it’s very unstable.
One day I barely received any packages. Next I will spend my entire budget in one hour. It happens everywhere and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it.
Note that the audience size after audience filtering is 50,000. There should be no problem finding people to advertise to, so this is more of a placement quirk.
I doubt many people are using this, but is this normal for daily unique reach these days?
