Translation dubbing AI-generated advertising function

Wow, look at this…

I found a new feature called Translate Voiceover, which could be great.

What’s this?

Meta describes this:

Convert your original voiceover from English to other languages, so your ads can attract viewers in their preferred language.

This is the advantage + creative enhancement currently being tested. It records the audio copy of the video and automatically translates it into another language. For the moment, this is only English to Spanish.

So if my video is meta-advertising, it will replace my audio with the Spanish version. There is no documentation on this file, so that’s what I explained.

It’s just a matter of time

If I’m right, it’s a lot like the tool I tried a year ago called Heygen.

At that time I speculated that this was something Me may end up doing. We are here.

Assuming the translation is done properly, this may make the video more accessible in a variety of languages. Translating subtitles is one thing. But translating audio is another level.

Does the translated audio sound like the original speaker, like Heygen? Or will you use universal sound? This is very important.

Where to find it

I haven’t seen this example yet, it seems to start on May 19, or at least in my account. I found this in the ad settings, in Advantage+ Creative. If anything, this is one of the options in the section that tests new AI generation capabilities.

I can’t wait to see where this is. Have you seen an example in the wild?
