SMS Verification to Improve Lead Quality

There is another way to improve the quality of lead. If you contact a new prospect by phone, you will need to try it.
Let’s take a closer look…
Basic knowledge
Below the instant table list you may see the section for “Premium Filters”. Here you may see a checkbox with “Requires SMS verification to submit the form”.
Once enabled, a new prospect will be required to provide a one-time password to submit the form. If they don’t do this, they will not be considered “lead” tracked in the lead data.
This is a quick video that shows what it does…
Require
To use this feature, your form must require a phone number. It cannot be an optional field.
Also, you cannot use higher intent form types. This seems odd, but I’ve seen a higher intent version that offers an option for SMS validation when selecting the form type (also weird, but still available).
Finally, if the prospect provides the number of the landline, the SMS verification will be invalid. You may want to specify this in your form. This may also make this feature useful for older age groups or for some areas where phones are lower.
Is it suitable for you?
This can be a huge benefit if you are struggling to contact potential customers by phone due to quality issues. In any case, you will be selling calls with new prospects, which is ideal. The cost of each lead will rise, but bots, spam and the lowest-quality leads should be reduced.
Of course, this feature is not for everyone. There is no reason to use it for a typical lead magnet. Don’t force phone numbers to improve lead quality (there are other ways to do so).
Otherwise, please try it!
