How to Print T-Shirt on Canvas
Printing a T-shirt on canvas is very easy. I’ve printed a few t-shirts so far and from my experience the quality is very good. All you need to do is:
- Finalize the design (using templates or creating templates from scratch). Please note that if you use a canvas template, you cannot resell the design, you can only use it for printing a T-shirt.
- Finalize the front and back of the design (they may be different).
- Choose your style (men, women, youth, toddler, infant).
- Select your color (the current colors are black, white and navy blue).
- Select your size. Canva has a size guide that I recommend using to check for hybrids. I find them a bit short for women’s t-shirts, so I usually size them.
- Confirm your order and pay. I found that the delivery so far is fast in Australia (my location is 2-3 days), so hopefully your location is also good!
Tips to ensure high-quality printing results:
Here are some tips I found when printing T-shirts:
- Be sure to check the preview of the T-shirt of your chosen color. This will ensure that the design is opposite to the color you choose and has enough contrast to print out like a t-shirt.
- Use the Compare button to check the other t-shirts you have as this will give you the best comparison.
- Use high-quality elements on T-shirt design. Avoid low-resolution photos or elements/graphics as they won’t be printed out clearly.
- For the ladies there… the female figure is perfect, although I usually tend to add a size. Absolutely used dimensional measurement guide. This is quite accurate and I’ve always been happy with the fit (and quality) of the canvas t-shirt. enjoy!

It’s easy in canvas. Simply start with a blank template (search for T-shirt templates) and start creating:
- Add cool messages using fonts/fonts.
- Search elements to find the illustrations and styles you want to add – from illustrations to photos and various elements in between, you can add millions of items in T-shirt designs.
