Last week, Meta was changing advertisers’ fees. Here’s what you need to know…

There is a version of the “How to charge for ads” page that says this (the point is mine):

Currently, you confirm the ad purchase. Your advertising charges will be equal to your budget for your advertising and we will not charge you more than the budget you set for your advertising. For example, if your campaign is set to two days and has a daily budget of $10, you will be charged $20 when you confirm your purchase.

This sounds like $20, but imagine the event for the end date of each month in the future. I have a lot of questions about this and advertisers are frightened for granted.

What about the activities you will stop as soon as possible? What about lifelong budget? What about events or ad sets without an end date?

Honestly, this makes no sense.

But subsequent social media today offered this update for Meta:

Technical errors have led a few to see Help Center articles with outdated information. We have not changed the billing policy recently and technical errors have been resolved since then. META provides advertisers with multiple ways to manage fees and determine when to charge ads.

OK Because prepayment of the campaign will be harmful.
