at last! Flexible format transparency…
New Options
Some advertisers see a new creative option in the Segment menu. Select it and you may see a flexible format.
[NOTE: Meta seems to be experimenting with this Creative breakdown option right now (not to be confused with Dynamic Creative Element). Depending on the ad account, I’m also seeing options for Image Generation and Related Media.]This new segmentation will allow you to view data in a flexible format. It’s not clear whether this is a test or a formal launch, but it could be huge.
What is a flexible format?
Flexible format allows you to submit images or videos of up to 10 ads.
It is a replacement for dynamic creativity when using sales or app promotion goals.
Need transparency
The problem is the lack of transparency. There is no way to see the performance of individual creatives. Dynamic creative elements decomposition is invalid.
This should solve this problem.
I still recommend focusing on summarizing the results, but this is useful information. It can help inform the types of creatives to be used in future advertising.
