Brands in Advertising Managers: AI-generated text and images

There is an updated brand update in Ad Managers that can make certain AI-generated enhancements more useful to advertisers.
Let’s see…
Where to find it
When creating an ad, you may see the “Brand” option in the “Identity” section (under your Facebook page of choice and under the Instagram profile).
This allows you to add brand details that can be applied to images generated by AI. But this applies to text now as well.
You already have the option to add brand logo, fonts, and colors before (I introduced it about a month ago). But now you can add text tones and visual styles.
Think of these as system prompts that help tell META how to generate AI text and images.
Word sound
Tone of text: Define intonation and writing pronunciation for use in AI-generated text.
Meta predefined my text tone as “confident, straightforward and dialogue…knowledgeable, helpful, and occasionally humorous”. I don’t know “humor”, but I’ll accept it.
This may be useful because I found that the text Meta generated by the AI would suggest otherwise would not work.
Visual style
Visual style: Define the background generation direction.
Meta obviously mentioned my current ad, predefined visual style as “informal, dialogue, dark background, orange accent, casual clothing, beer theme, Pubcast logo”.
Influence
In each case, you can edit these to improve AI-generated text and images with your company brand. This may help increase confidence in advertisers who are resistant to using these enhancements.
Have you defined the brand? What impact did it have?
