Meta announced that they will begin limited tests on advertising on threads including a few advertisers and users. Because this is a limited test, few users will see these advertisements.

In the initial test, the participating users may see image ads in the threads between content. There are no signs that the test includes other formats, such as videos or rotating Trojans.

The example of Meta sharing uses a image that seems to be 2 × 1. If it is accurate, this will be a unique vertical ratio. My measurement is clear, it seems that it is 16: 9. However, what is the recommendation of this location will be the recommended and horizontal ratio.
