Meta tries to break some subtle brand changes through you, but I won’t let them. You may not have noticed some updates to the name of the feature…
Advantage + campaign budget
Remember the budget for the Advantage Campaign?
Did you know, it was originally a feature of campaign budget optimization?
Well, its name changed again. Now it’s the advantage + campaign budget.
At first, I thought I was losing my mind, and it was always like this, but I confirmed it changed.
But that’s not the only feature to get upgrades.
Advantages + Positioning Function
The audience expansion capabilities of all the advantages have also changed.
Detailed positioning of advantages…
…Now is the advantage + detailed positioning.
Advantages look like…
…is the advantage + looks like.
And advantage custom audiences…
…is an advantage + custom audience.
Name changes are reflected in Meta’s official documentation.
but why? ?
Amazing! So, what new features are included with +?
there is nothing. Function will not change.
This seems to align the brand with the new strengths + campaigns. This is really not a bad thing. Some features are advantages, while others are advantages + confusing facts.
At some point, I did work to understand the difference between “advantage” and “Advantage+”, but I can’t tell you what the difference is now. This eliminates this confusion.
But the whole thing is also a bit ridiculous. I can’t wait to upgrade the advantages.
