Pilogic promotes $4 million “precision artificial intelligence” for aerospace and defense

Unlike generative AI models that use large data sets to generate reasonable responses to open tips, Pilogic focuses on precision, efficiency, and reliability, which is essential in aerospace and defense. Its proprietary reasoning engine allows decisions to be made at the edge of satellites, aircraft and other remote systems without high computational costs or ambiguous output burden.

New aerospace AI

Pilogic’s platform integrates probabilistic inference, logical reasoning, machine learning, and search algorithms into faster and more accurate models than general purpose LLMS – no high-powered GPU or large-scale training datasets are required.

In aerospace and defense, sensor fusion and diagnosis can mean the difference between mission success and failure, which is a game-changer.

Key applications already in flight:

  • Radar tracking model: Orbit and distinguish between flying objects in 3D space (e.g., drones and aircraft), even at close distances or across paths. It extends to Sonar, Lidar and GPS use cases to provide precise object classification for autonomous systems and defense platforms.
  • Satellite power diagnosis: Predict failures and use onboard sensor data to provide real-time remediation advice for satellite electrical systems. Through NASA validation, the model can operate directly on satellites without laziness or dependence on Earth-based systems.
