The rules of value are here – Jon Loomer Numbers

Go to your ad settings. If anything, you will see the value rule at the top.
This could be a very interesting update. Let’s take a closer look…
What are the value rules?
When you click Create Value Rule, META will give a brief overview of how value rules work.
You can create rule sets based on age, gender, location, and mobile operating systems to increase or decrease bids for specific audiences. This applies only to conversions. You can create up to 10 rules.
This is a similar concept for advertisers who hear about bid multipliers. Bid multiplier can be used for a few advertisers and usually requires access through an ad representative. However, value rules are easier to set up and manage.
example
One example is that people between the ages of 25 and 44 increase your bid by 20%. Alternatively, you can easily reduce bids for the group.
You can also combine the rules by clicking “Add Criteria”. So, for example, you could create a rule for women aged 25-44. You cannot add a third standard, such as location or mobile operating system.
Advertising Manager
When creating the location of the ad set, the performance goal is to maximize the number of conversions, you will see the value rule. You can then choose whether to apply the value rules for that ad set.
Qualified accounts also have a breakdown of the value rules.
Why do you want to use this?
Meta said value rules are ideal for long-term or strategic goals, including lifetime value or delayed conversion. Actually, based on some of the questions I’ve seen, this makes a lot of sense.
I immediately thought of a way to apply it to Advantage+ audience weaknesses when optimizing leads. For some reason, the dollar can get me cheap (but low quality) to boot from people over 65, so my budget is spent most of my time there. I can create a value rule to lower my bid for this age group.
It’s a fun way to add controls to advertisers as Meta keeps taking it away. I do worry that some people apply value rules when they don’t need them. Will you use this?
I plan to write a blog post that will be detailed soon.
