Step-by-step guide for deploying a fully integrated FireCrawl-powered MCP server on Claude desktop





In this tutorial, we will learn how to deploy a fully-featured Model Context Protocol (MCP) server using Smithery as the configuration framework and Myax as the Runtime Orchestrator. We’ll walk through the installation and configuring Smithery to define your MCP endpoints, and then leverage Myax to rotate and manage the server process. Finally, we will connect to FireCrawl via a MCP server directly managed by the METAX from the Claude Desktop Client, an effective document crawl proxy. By the end, we will have a simplified pipeline for contextual AI workflows, and FireCrawl pushes content into our MCP-driven Claude environment in real time.

Step 01: Register on the Myax page and access the tools you need to set up your MCP server.

Step 02: Register and access the API key on the FireCrawl page.

Step 03: Go to the Myax dashboard and set up FireCrawl MCP. Enter the FireCrawl API key from the previous step and paste it here.

Step 04: Now configure a different FireCrawl configuration and save the configuration.

Step 05: Here we can see the connected MCP. FireCrawl is connected, we can follow the same steps to add more different connections if needed.

Step 06: In this section, configure the Smithery AI API key and copy it for use in the esutax desktop settings.

Step 07: Similar to Smithery AI, get the Myax API keys from its website. Using these two API keys is convenient, we will now configure our estyax MCP using the terminal.

Step 08: Now, let’s set up the estyax configuration on the desktop. Use the following command to add Myax to Claude’s desktop:

npx -y @smithery/cli@latest install @VeyraX/veyrax-mcp --client claude

Step 09: After the terminal successfully executes the above command, the Smithery AI and Meyax API keys are provided when prompted. As before, we already have API keys.

Step 10: Close the Claude desktop and restart. Go to Settings and then Developers, we will now configure and run MCP MCP.

Step 11: Check the tools connected to MYASAX, we can find Firecrawl here because we have Unyax MCP configured for it.

Step 12: Finally, call FireCrawl and do some cancellation with this easy-to-use setup and access the FireCrawl tool directly via Claude Desktop.

In short, following the steps below, we now have a MCP server defined in Smithery, carefully curated by Myax and communicate seamlessly with Claude Desktop’s Firecrawl. This setup standardizes how our AI agents exchange contexts and simplifies scale and maintenance with Smithery’s declarative configuration and Meyax’s robust runtime management. From here we can extend our MCP server with other tool plugins, customize routing rules in Smithery, or experiment with advanced FireCrawl Crawlers to enrich our Claude-based applications with fresh structured data.
