How it works
Some advertisers have reported new options for Facebook notification placement.
Your ads may appear in the user’s notification feed. This location is particularly unique in that there is no need for images or videos. It only uses your profile photos, ad titles and links.
When I create an ad, Facebook notification locations are available in Advanced Preview. I was able to confirm that Meta would pull out my profile image. This is how it appears…

Will it work?
This is an interesting choice. This will certainly be seen as an annoyance to the user, but it is also difficult to ignore. While it is unlikely that you will get a lot of impressions from this position, I am curious about how it works.
