Right column placement chaos – Jon Loomer number

This is super confusing, and the meta needs to update it…
The right column is the feed location
It seems that this has been changing for at least a few months (even if not longer). When using manual placement, the right column will be listed along with the feed. In the past (perhaps a year or two ago), it was included in the search results.
Since Meta now recommends squares for images, it makes sense to include it in the feed, or a square or 4:5 video instead of the old 1.91 to 1.
question
However, the meta did not update some of the most important resources. Even if you looked at the figure above, Meta suggests the right column 1.91:1, but the display and example use seems to be 4:5 examples.
When you upload a new image or video, you are asked to use Square, 9:16 and 1.91 to 1 version. For the final 1.91:1 group it reads that it is suitable for the correct columns and search results.
Even if you customize by location, the search results, rather than the feed, contain the right column.
what to do?
Bottom line: Don’t let this confuse you. Creative using square or 4:5 right column. The more real estate, the better.
But, yes. Meta needs to update their stuff!
