We live in a visual economy and need to be able to create, communicate and collaborate visually. It has never been more important for all members of all organizations to create visual content – from designers to non-designers. In fact, Canva’s recent Visual Economics report shared that 92% of business leaders want to and even expect their employees to communicate visually with basic design literacy skills.

So, how do we deal with the challenges faced by large organizations that are designers and non-designers to ensure that visual content is branded, high-quality, and can be created at scale?

We train our team to abandon institutions and create amazing high-impact content with the help of Canva…inside….

Let’s take a look at 3 case studies we’ve worked with the organization’s team using Canva. We will then break down the benefits of moving to Canva Teams or Canva Enterprise with support from Canva proven experts.

Canva Teams Case Study

We are introducing 3 case studies to show how we can work with organizations that move to the Canva team or Canva Enterprise (or those who want to do a high-skilled group for their current team):

  • Southern Cross Nursing (WA)
  • network

Let’s see how social classification works with these teams to harness the power of Canva:

1. Southern Cross Care (WA)

Southern Cross Care (WA) is an organization that helps people live extraordinary lives that are relevant to their communities every day. They provide services in residential aged care, home care, retirement life (as well as temporary care, dementia care, mental health support, disability support, housing, health & wellness, etc.).

Training objectives

Southern Cross Care (WA)’s marketing team began social classification to train its large Canva user team (including marketing and design teams to event managers). They are already using the Canva team, but many of their team members have little experience or skills with Canva’s beginner level.

Southern Cross Care (WA) has implemented some existing templates and organizational systems as well as brand suites in Canva, but is seeking to further train its broader team of membership in Canva and provide consulting on the system for its team of brand designers and administrators.

Training results

During multiple training courses, the Southern Cross Nursing (WA) team is authorized to:

  1. Simplify all organizational systems and folders for easy management and access to content by all team members.
  2. Add extra locks to the template and make sure all main templates are shared with the team as branded templates.
  3. Familiar with the Canva Team branding features (including brand suites and brand templates) for new team members.
  4. Training all team members so that templates can be edited quickly and easily while preserving brand integrity.
  5. The team updated its corporate brand in 2025 and made a smooth transition in its Canva Teams account through Canva.
